Local file processing is a specific claim

PDF Master Pro's document operations are designed to read selected files and generate output in the browser. They do not include a document-upload API for conversion. That is a useful distinction from a server conversion service, but it does not mean that a website has no network activity or that no optional service processes personal information.

Your browser still downloads the application, fonts, PDF libraries and OCR models. A contact form, a voluntary payment and optional analytics are separate flows. The Privacy Policy describes those categories; review them before using sensitive material or optional services.

Separate documents from application assets

Selected documents and generated results use browser memory and temporary object URLs while a tool is open. The service worker is designed to cache application assets for offline use rather than intentionally storing your document files. Downloaded results are files you choose to save on your device and may be retained by your operating system, browser download history or backup settings.

Cached assets are different. The first use of an OCR language may download a model, and a later operation can reuse it offline. Clearing site storage or browser eviction can remove cached assets, requiring another download. An engine download is not itself an upload of your PDF.

Optional services have distinct data

Browser-based PDF privacy: files, cached assets and optional services
ChoiceData involvedImportant distinction
Document toolSelected file and generated output in the browserNo conversion upload API is part of the tool workflow
Contact formSubmitted name, email and messageDo not include passwords, OTPs or sensitive documents
NewsletterSubmitted email addressSeparate subscription provider and processing
Verified support checkoutPayment references, amounts/status and optional supporter contactProvider handles payment credentials; website receipts depend on verified status
Optional ads/analyticsProvider-dependent usage/device/cookie dataRequires configuration and the appropriate privacy/consent controls

A PayPal.me link or UPI app opens another provider's flow. A private receipt link can grant access to a payment confirmation until it expires; do not publish that link as though it were a harmless public URL.

Keep control on shared devices

Use a device and browser profile you trust. Inspect download destinations and remember that a file saved to a synchronized folder may be copied to another service by that folder's own settings. Close unnecessary sensitive previews and remove unneeded downloaded copies according to your organization's handling rules.

Extensions, injected third-party scripts and device compromise can affect confidentiality even when an application is designed for local processing. Private browsing does not repair a compromised device or establish an organization's approval for handling a sensitive record.

Use privacy choices meaningfully

The PDF tools remain usable when optional tracking is rejected. A basic preference dialog is not itself a Google-certified consent-management platform. Advertising requires the configured provider setup and applicable consent behavior; displaying a preference button does not prove those external requirements are complete.

If you request deletion or correction of submitted contact/payment information, describe the relevant service to support without disclosing payment credentials. Retention of financial references can differ from optional contact details and is subject to the operator's approved policy and applicable obligations.

Choose the workflow for the sensitivity of the document

For a highly confidential, regulated or employer-controlled record, use a workflow approved by the responsible organization. Keep an original and only share the pages the recipient needs. Do not rely on a promotional “100% safe” label as a substitute for understanding the device, data flows and recipients.

Privacy is easier to evaluate when each claim is specific: which operation runs locally, which data leaves through an optional service, and which copies you deliberately save or share.
