Split PDF creates separate one-page files. Extract Pages creates one new PDF from a chosen selection. Delete Pages keeps the pages that were not selected for removal. Reorder Pages follows the sequence you specify and can intentionally repeat a page. Choosing the wrong operation can produce a valid PDF with the wrong contents.

Keep the original and decide the intended output before entering numbers. A printed page label inside a document can differ from the viewer's page index: a cover, unnumbered introduction or appendix can shift the count. The selectors use one-based PDF page positions, not an interpretation of the printed labels.

Write the expected sequence first

For a six-page sample, write down the required positions. If you need pages one, three, four and five, extract 1,3-5. If page six should come first, reorder 6,1-5. A repeated number is deliberate duplication, not an automatic error. 1,1,2 produces three output pages, including two copies of the first.

Arabic, Devanagari and fullwidth digits are accepted in page selections, along with common localized separators. Still inspect the resulting sequence. Supported input notation does not verify that the selected content is appropriate for the recipient.

Do not interpret page deletion as a secure redaction workflow for information elsewhere in the file. Confidential content can exist in remaining pages, annotations or other document structures. Review the complete outgoing document.

Process and inspect a sample

  1. Open the matching tool and select the PDF.
  2. Enter the intended page numbers/ranges where required.
  3. Resolve invalid or out-of-range entries rather than assuming they will be ignored.
  4. Save the result under a descriptive new filename.
  5. Compare page count, first/last pages and the full sequence in another reader.

For a packet with a letter, certificate and statement, inspect every boundary. A correct-looking first page does not reveal a duplicated middle page or a missing ending.

Recheck navigation and document features

Changing a page sequence can invalidate written references such as “see page 7.” Existing bookmarks and document-level interactions also deserve review after any rewriting operation. The bookmark tool adds navigation entries in compatible viewers; it does not create a printed table-of-contents page.

Add final page numbers after the sequence is settled. A visible page number is an overlay on page content, not the internal index used by a selection field. Keep previously certificate-signed originals unchanged and verify their validity separately before using rewritten copies.

Work within the browser's capacity

There is no subscription quota on the page tools, but decoded documents and repeated copies consume memory. A very large duplication request can create an impractical output even when the input is small. Try a representative subset and inspect it before processing a larger batch.

The goal is an intentional, reviewable sequence. Keep the original and enough notes to recreate the selection if another correction becomes necessary.
